IDEM requires public water systems (utilities) in Indiana to implement cross-connection control programs to protect water quality. Local utilities enforce these rules, often through ordinances.

Repair & Component Labor
If repairs are required, we’ll thoroughly clean the interior, repair or replace any faulty components, and make sure your backflow preventer meets all state compliance standards. We’ll then re-test the unit and send the results straight to the water utility for you.

Backflow Replacements and Installations
If your backflow preventer needs replacement, one of our licensed plumbers will professionally install a new unit or replace the failed device. We’ll handle all necessary re-piping, securely mount it with proper clamps and floor supports, and ensure everything is installed to code.
Once installed, we’ll test the new backflow preventer and submit the results directly to the water utility for you.
Labor starts at $450 for devices 2" and smaller. Larger valves require an on-site inspection for an accurate quote.
